FIVE AIRPORTS IN GREATER PEARL RIVER DELTA SEAL MOU FOR FUTURE GROWTH
SINGAPORE, March 25 (Bernama) -- Five major airports in the Greater Pearl
River Delta (GPRD) region, which includes Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen
and Zhuhai, signed a memorandum of understanding Friday to strengthen
co-operation among them and promote sustainable development of the airports in
the region.
In a statement Friday, Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) said the MoU
was signed during a meeting held in Hong Kong.
Hosted by HKIA, the meeting focused on ways to foster closer co-operation
and communications.
Officials from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and Hong
Kong's Transport and Housing Bureau also joined the meeting.
