GET WELL SOON, IBRAHIM
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited singer Ibrahim Tatlises, who was injured in the head in an armed attack. Erdogan said, "he is in good condition, and I have got his application to become a candidate in the general elections." 

PARIS EXCLUDED
Turkey's efforts have bore fruit. France, who was preparing to lead the military operation on Libya, lost. Prime Minister Erdogan said, "Paris' exclusion from leadership is positive." Coalition forces gave the command of the operation to NATO. Security of Libya's air space will be ensured and the no fly zone will be controlled from Izmir, Turkey.

NATO ASSIGNS IZMIR AS COMMAND CENTER FOR LIBYA EFFORT
NATO designated its base in Turkey's western province of Izmir as the command center for its air operation on Libya. Canadian General Charles Bouchard has been assigned as the chief of the command center. In related news, French President Nicolas Sarkozy is expected to insist on his opposition to the handover to NATO the control of Libyan action in summit meeting in London. However, NATO will have assumed all control before the summit meeting.

TURKISH PRESIDENT ADDRESSES BUSINESSPEOPLE IN GHANA
Turkish President Abdullah Gul on Friday addressed businesspeople in Ghana at a meeting of the Turkey-Ghana Business Forum, hosted by Turkey's Confederation of Industrialists (TUSKON). "What differentiates us from the European is that we work for the mutual benefit of both sides in trade deal," Gul said.

ANKARA FOILS SARKOZY'S AGENDA ON LIBYA
Turkey's breathtaking diplomatic maneuver has caught French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who had plans to invade Libya under NATO's umbrella. Ankara proved successful in convincing United States and Britain to accept its condition to greenlight NATO involvement. Turkish Foreign Minister spoke with U.S. counterpart Hillary Clinton four times in three days. Turkey's role has begun to get shaped. Turkish naval and air forces units will help enforce a weapons embargo on Libya and organize humanitarian aid to the Libyan people.

UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST ON SUNDAY
Over 1.8 million high school students will take on Sunday a test to continue their education at a university. The Higher Education Passage Exam will he held nationwide. OSYM, Turkey's university student election center, will take strict measures such deploying video cameras to prevent cheating in the exam.
