Turkey's Is Bank to open office in Syria
ISTANBUL (A.A) - 28.03.2011 - Ersin Ozince, the Director General of Turkey's Is Bankasi, said on Monday that the bank would first open a representative's office and later a branch or a subsidiary in Syria.
Speaking to reporters, Ozince said they had applied to open an office in Syria, adding that "Syria is continuously trying to create chance for us. It has cancelled the condition for a 51 percent partnership."
Ozince said he thought a decision would be made within a few months.
