HE Municipality & Urban Planning Minister, National Development Strategy 2011-2016

Doha, March 28 (QNA) -HE Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning Sheikh Abdulrahman Bin Khalifa Al Thani has underlined that the national development strategy of the State of Qatar 2011-2016 which was launched here earlier Monday, has outlined the practical visualization for the economic , social , cultural and environmental development for the State of Qatar in the coming years to make of a Qatar a more properous country in future.
In a press statement he made on the occasion of the launch of the national development strategy of the State of Qatar 2011-2016 , HE the minister said that the said strategy is regarded an overall strategy including all policies and national programmes that should be executed for ensuring the set targets envisaged in Qatar National vision 2030.
The strategy , HE the Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning Sheikh Abdulrahman Bin Khalifa Al Thani made clear that the strategy would achieve equilibrium between the needs of the present and the future generations and the development requirements and seeks at the same tome to preserve and safeguard the traditions and characteristics of the State of Qatar.
''The Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning will be of the effective contributors to ensure the sucess of the aforesaid strategy which will undoubtedly be an outstanding occasion to continue a fruitful long way to create a better future for all Qatari citizens especially our children and future generations'', HE the minister concluded.
