2010 Population, Housing and Establishments Census Data
Doha, March 28 (QNA) - Under the auspices of His Excellency Shiekh Hamad bin Jabor bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar Statistics Authority President, Qatar Statistics Authority will organize next Wednesday the Expert Group Meeting on "Methodologies to analyze 2010 Population, Housing and Establishments Census Data". The two-day meeting will be held at the Millennium hotel.
Representatives of statistics organizations of the Gulf Cooperation Countries will participate in this meeting, in addition to experts from international organizations, with wide experience in census data analysis.
The meeting aims to:
1. Develop a comprehensive framework for analyzing census data.
2. Recognize new methodologies suitable for 2010 census data analysis.
3. Acquaint and benefit from regional and international successful experiences in census data analysis upon preparing the executive plan for analytical studies.
It is expected that this meeting will contribute to the development of a comprehensive framework for census data analysis, includes subjects that will be included in the analysis, methodology, methods and new software, which will ensure reaching to summaries and qualitative results can be employed in national development strategies and public and private sectors plans.
