Kim Jong Il Congratulates General Secretary of LPRP
VIENTIANE,MARCH (KPL)- Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, on 21 March sent a congratulatory message to Choummaly Sayasone on his reelection as general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP).
The message said:
I warmly congratulate you on your reelection as general secretary of the LPRP Central Committee at its 9th Congress. Your reelection is an expression of the deep trust of all the party members and people in you.
Availing myself of this opportunity, I express belief that the good friendly and cooperative relations between the WPK and the LPRP established in the anti-imperialist common struggle for socialism will grow stronger in conformity with the desire of the peoples of the two countries.
I wish you greater success in your responsible work for building prosperous Laos.
