Qatar Diabetes Association Honors Outstanding Students / For Local Press

Doha , April 02 (QNA) - The Qatar Diabetes Association honored Saturday 54 outstanding students from different junior-highs and high schools who have diabetes.
The honored students were grouped into three different categories, those who scored 70% score, followed by those with 80% and the last category was those who scored the 90%. The Chief executive of the association Abdulla Al Hamaq said that people in general should pay attention to their health, especially the young generation.
Al Hamaq added that diabetes is not an obstacle to success, rather it encourages students throughout different school stages to excel in their study.
Fathiya Al Dhabey said that this year honored only boys but that next year's edition will honor both boys and girls. (QNA)
