Qatari Aircraft Evacuates Wounded Persons from Libya

Doha, April 02 (QNA) - A Qatari force aircraft arrived at Doha International Airport this evening carrying several wounded Libyans.
The aircraft evacuated nine wounded Libyan civilians and the rebels by gunshots from al-Gaddafi forces.
The aircraft took off from Benghazi International Airport stopped over at the Greek capital Athens to drop five others who are seriously injured.
Brigadier, Dr. Mubarak Abbad Al-Abdullah, Commander of the Medical Services at the Qatari Armed Forces said a medical team from the armed forces including doctors, surgeons and nurses accompanied the injured to provide the necessary medical care until their arrival in Doha.
Brig. Al Abdullah told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the injured were taken to Doha because their cases need advanced treatment and accurate medical care.
He added that the plane used to evacuate the wounded was transportation aircraft with fully equipped hospital to provide the wounded with medical and emergency services.(QNA)
