Turkish Central Bank set to hold general assembly meeting

ANKARA (A.A) - 05.04.2011 - Turkey's Central Bank is set to hold its annual general board meeting on April 12 in the Turkish capital, Ankara, the bank said on Tuesday. 
The assembly meeting is expected to vote a number of amendments to its regulations including delegation of some of the powers of the Bank Assembly to various bodies within the bank as well as keeping deposits of the Treasury someplace else other than the Central Bank.    
The bank will also select its new governor for a five-year term to replace Durmus Yilmaz, who will retire due to age a limit of 65 years.
Yilmaz was selected the bank head on April 18, 2006.k
