FALLOW FORMULA TO "IMPORTANT PEOPLE"
Speaking at the closed session of Justice and Development (AK) Party's last group meeting, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave important messages regarding his party's candidate lists. Recalling that members of his party could not be deputies for more than 3 terms, Erdogan said, "this will be the last election for me and for many of our friends". Erdogan said, therefore, some members would be left out of the list this term in order to guarantee the future of the party.

"UPRISING" AGAINST TURKEY AFTER GADDAFI
Turkey has brought 321 people who got injured during the clashes in Libya to the western town of Cesme for treatment. However, during the very same hours, rebels who gathered in front of Turkey's consulate general in Benghazi took down signboards and kicked the gates. Turkish Red Crescent's aid ship was not permitted to dock at the port either. Turkey has earlier expressed that it was against the arming of rebels in Libya. Sources said the reactions was against such stance.

NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IN IGNEADA
Turkey has not changed its policy about nuclear power plants, although many countries did after the explosion in nuclear power plants in earthquake-hit Japan. The government, which decided to build the first nuclear power plant in Akkuyu hamlet of the southern province of Mersin and the second in the northern province of Sinop, picked Igneada town of the northwestern province of Kirklareli for the third nuclear power plant. The reason to select Igneada was shown as its resistance to earthquakes.

GREAT MARCH FOR NATURE
Brotherhood of the Rivers Platform, which supports nature that remained under the pressure of hydroelectrical, thermic and nuclear power plants, initiated 'Great Anatolian March'. Environmentalists will walk from different regions of Turkey and meet in front of the Parliament in Ankara on April 9, and make a call to the government.

WOUNDED LIBYANS IN IZMIR
Turkish "Ankara" ferry, which took 470 passengers including 321 injured from Misrata and Benghazi ports of Libya, arrived in Turkey's western Cesme Port yesterday. 20 of the injured people are in serious condition. On the other hand, anti-Turkey demonstrations --which began after statements of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as "we are against armament of opposition in Libya"-- are continuing in Benghazi.
