Turkey's top EU official set to visit the Netherlands

LAHEY (A.A) - Turkey's Chief Negotiator for European Union accession talks Egemen Bagis is set to depart for the Netherlands on Friday on a two-day visit.
Bagis is scheduled to meet Dutch Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal, Minister of European Affairs Ben Knapen as well as Rene van der Linden, president of the Parliamentary Assembly in The Hague on Friday.
Bagis will also meet in The Hague Turkish Ambassador Ahmet Uzumcu, director general of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
The Turkish negotiator will proceed to Amsterdam to participate in the opening ceremony of the "Turkey: The Missing Star."
On Saturday, Bagis will attend a working breakfast hosted by the Union of the European Turkish Democrats and deliver a speech at a conference on "Turkey-EU Relations and the Netherlands," organized by Dutch Association of Turkish Businesspeople.    
Bagis is expected to return to Turkey after participating in a meeting of the German Marshall Fund.
