DEMOCRACY FEAST
Turkey is getting ready to bring something new in June 12 elections. Greeks, Armenians, suspects of Balyoz and Ergenekon cases, artists, sportsmen and handicapped are among the presumptive candidates. All segments of the society will be represented at the ballot boxes.
KURDISH MOVE FROM AL-ASAD
Syria, which Turkey made a call for reform, took a critical step. Syrian President Bashar Al-Asad formally recognized citizenship right to Kurds.
Al-Asad pushed the button for rooted reforms and listened to the demands of Kurds who have been asking for citizenship right for years.
A decree was issued which will enable Kurds to be citizens.

WIKILEAKS EXPLANATION FROM KOC
Koc Holding Executive Board Chairman Mustafa Koc accepted (the claims of Wikileaks) that he met U.S. Ambassador James Jeffrey during the days of economic crisis (in 2009). Mustafa Koc said, "I talked about political scenarios and coalition. However, in today's conditions, Justice & Development (AK) Party will be the top party of the general elections."
ERDOGAN CALLS ON GADDAFI TO OPEN THE WAY OF DEMOCRACY
Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a three-phase road map regarding the crisis in Libya. Stressing that it was necessary to sign a real cease-fire and to set up secure zones for humanitarian aid, Erdogan wanted Gaddafi to open the way of a constitutional order in which people would elect its governor by free will. Regarding anti-Turkey demonstrations, Erdogan said that the protests were a product of smear campaign.

During the drawing made in Higher Election Board, the places of political parties, which will compete in June 12 general elections, in ballot paper have been set. Ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party is on the first place, main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) on 4th place, and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) on 12th place.
FLAG PROVOCATION IN TRNC
Syndicated Platform members, who made provocative activities in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), planted a Greek Cypriot flag on the wall of Turkish Embassy and shouted slogans yesterday.
