AIRASIA LAUNCHES SALE OF 'CHARITY FLIGHT WITH SIR RICHARD BRANSON'

KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 (Bernama) -- AirAsia has launched the sale of
"charity flight with Sir Richard Branson".

In a statement Wednesday, the airline said Branson of Virgin Group would don
AirAsia’s red female flight attendant uniform and strut down the aisle to offer
coffee, tea or any other food or beverage to 250 guests onboard AirAsia flight
D7 08 from London to Kuala Lumpur on May 1.

A total of 160 tickets onboard this special flight with three package
options would be made available for sale on www.AirAsiaGo.com from Wednesday
until April 24.

The flight tickets are available at GBP4,500, while flights and
accommodation packages start at GBP5,200 for a single accommodation and GBP5,000
for twin sharing.

All proceeds will go to beneficiaries to be determined by AirAsia Group
chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes and Branson.
