PIKOM EYES OVER 230,000 SHOPPERS TO FOURTH LEG OF PC FAIR
KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 (Bernama) -- The National ICT Association of Malaysia
(PIKOM) expects over 230,000 shoppers to the fourth leg of its PC Fair 2011 from
Apri 15-17, 2011.
In a statement Thursday, PIKOM said the three-day fair would be held at
Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre; Batu Pahat Mall (Johor); Village Mall in Sungai
Petani (Kedah); and, Dewan Masyarakat in Tawau (Sabah).
Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Johnity
Ongkili would officiate the fair this Saturday at KLCC.
PIKOM president, Shaifubahrim Salleh, said the fair here would be the
largest of its kind held in the city centre.
"The other venues in Batu Pahat, Sungai Petani and Tawau would contribute to
PIKOM's plan in helping narrow the nation's digital device," he said.
PIKOM said visitors who pre-register at www.pikom.my or the fair's visitors'
counters would receive a gift.
