M'SIAN CONSTRUCTION FIRMS STRONGLY REPRESENTED IN MSE 2011

KUALA LUMPUR, April 18 (Bernama) -- A total of 24 construction and related
professional services companies are participating at the ongoing Malaysian
Services Exhibition (MSE) 2011 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE),
the event, which took off yesterday, will provide a one stop centre for the
business community of Abu Dhabi to tap into the capabilities of Malaysia's best
service providers.

A statement from Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) said Monday
that MBAM, along with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), was
co-leading the Malaysian construction services cluster at the event.

Five of the participating companies are members of the MBAM including UEM
Group and Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd.

"We hope to be able to profile the strengths and advantages of Malaysian and
MBAM member construction companies to Middle East corporations," MBAM said.

These events will also hopefully, serve as a confidence building measure
between potential Malaysian business leaders and their Middle East counterparts,
so that opportunities could be given for Malaysian builders to participate in
iconic projects in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and in the Middle East, it
added.
