Russian, Tatarstan automotive buyers set to visit Turkey to mull business opportunities

BURSA (A.A) - 22.04.2011 - A group of automotive dealers from Russia and Tatarstan is set to pay a visit to Turkey next week to explore trade opportunities.
The group, headed by Tatarstan's Industry and Commerce Minister Ravil Hammatovic Zaripov, will meet representatives from Turkish automotive sector in Istanbul and in the northwestern province of Bursa, a major hub for automotive manufacturing in Turkey.  
Russia has substantial investments in the automotive sector in Tatarstan. 
Last year Russia manufactured a total of 1.2 million vehicles. The country is one of the major markets for Turkish automotive exports.
