TEHRAN ,April 26 (FNA)- Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on Monday renewed Tehran's full support for national unity in Iraq, and stressed that Iran will spare no effort to help to the establishment of democracy and development in its western neighbor.
Hashimi, Larijani stressed that assistance to the protection and promotion of national unity and establishment of durable democracy in Iraq as well as assistance to the country's construction and development constitute the Islamic Republic of Iran's strategy on Iraq.
"The Iranian nation and government will spare no help and assistance in this regard," Larijani added.
He warned about enemies' plot to sow discord and spark political disputes in Iraq, and stressed, "Maintaining unity, solidarity and vigilance is very important under the present circumstances."

In March, Iraqi President Jalal Talabani underscored the commonalities of the two Iranian and Iraqi nations, and said Baghdad seeks long-term and strategic relations with Tehran.
He made the remarks in Tehran in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
During the meeting, Ahmadinejad said Iran and Iraq have deep-rooted historical and cultural relations, adding that the two countries can give a culture of freedom, brotherhood and justice to the world.
He said that cooperation between the two countries has a positive and constructive trend, and added that all possibilities for progress of the two countries are prepared now.
