Italian cyclist wins third stage of Tour of Turkey


MARMARIS (A.A) - 26.04.2011 - An Italian rider has won the third stage of the 47th Presidential Tour of Turkey. 
Manuel Belletti of Italy from Irelands's Colnago-CSF Inox team finished 166-kilometer stage in the 47th Presidential Tour of Turkey in 4:22:24, and became the winner.
Roberto Ferrari from Italy's Androni Giocattoli team ranked second while Wesley Sulzberger from France's FDJ team came on the third place. 
The winners received their awards from the governor of western province of Mugla, Fatih Sahin. 
The 1,387-km tour, which is the first ever intercontinental cycling event, features 22 teams and 176 professional cyclists this year.
The tour will end on May 1 in Alanya in southern Turkey.
