SARAWAK TO HOST MANCHESTER UNITED PREMIER CUP 2011

KUCHING (Malaysia), April 27 (Bernama) -- The Football Association of
Sarawak (FAS) is targeting 48 teams for the two-day Manchester United Premier
Cup (MPUC) 2011 Sabah/Sarawak zone to be played here next month.

FAS deputy-president Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki said MPUC Sabah/Sarawak zone
is scheduled to be held on May 21 and 22 at Stadium C and D in Petra Jaya,
Kuching.

"The tournament is open to players who are 16 and below while winners will
qualify for the national level," he said here Wednesday.

The tournament is a collaboration with state football associations in the
country, FAM, Nike and 360 Sports Management Sdn Bhd.
