Laos voices concern over Thai-Cambodia clashes
VIENTIANE ,APRIL KPL) -) The Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson issued a statement yesterday expressing great concern over clashes between the armed forces of Thailand and Cambodia from April 22 to 25.
The clashes caused loss of lives and property on both sides, said ministry spokesperson Mr. Khenthong Nouanthasing.
Laos as a neighbouring country sharing borders with the two nations hopes Thailand and Cambodia will resolve their border issue through peaceful means, based on the principles of international laws and in a spirit of friendship as neighbouring countries and members of the Asean family.
