Foreign Minister receives Japanese delegation
(KPL) Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs received yesterday at his office in Vientiane a courtesy visit of Japanese delegation led by Mr. Kenichiro Sasae, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
At the talks, Mr. Thongloun expressed congratulations and highly valued the visit to Laos of the Japanese delegation as a big contribution to further the friendship relation and co-operation between Laos and Japan.
During the visit, the bilateral meeting to review the co-operation between Laos and Japan was also held under the co-chairmanship of Mr. Bounkeut Sangsonsak, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Japanese counterpart Kenichiro Sasae.
At the session, the sides confirmed to continue to support and assist to each other in the bilateral framework in order to bring the benefits to the both side people.
