Turkey exports untite and hydromagnesite mineral to 16 countries
DENIZLI (A.A) - 28.04.2011 - Turkey exports untite and hydromagnesite mineral to 16 countries.
Likya Minelco Mining Company exports the minerals which is extracted from untite and hydromagnesite beds that is only found in western province of Denizli.
Turhan Sahan, Managing Director of Likya Minelco Mining, told A.A correspondent that the mine is used in many products like cable industry, rubber, plastic, surface coating and cement after being processed.
Sahan said the mine was found only in Turkey and in Greece.
15.000 tones of the annual 25,000 tones of product are sent to Britain to be processed, and the remaining 10.000 tones are exported to foreign countries after being processed in Aegean province of Izmir.
