I-Sec's Madhavi Buch to go on sabbatical,Anup Bagchi new chief
New Delhi, Apr 29 (PTI) ICICI Securities Managing
Director and CEO Madhavi Puri-Buch will go on a sabbatical and
Anup Bagchi will lead the company from May 1.
"Madhabi Puri-Buch, presently Managing Director & CEO,
ICICI Securities will move to ICICI Bank and proceed on a
sabbatical for personal reasons, to join her husband who is
based overseas," ICICI Securities said in a statement.
Bagchi, who is presently the Executive Director at ICICI
Securities, would head the company's initiatives in Corporate
Finance.
ICICI Securities is in the business of providing advisory
services for equity capital markets, institutional equities
and retail equities, which includes ICICIdirect.com.
As an ED, Bagchi was responsible for the development and
business growth of the ICICI Securities' retail broking
business, distribution of retail financial products and wealth
management services, the statement added.
The company has also announced the appointment of Mridul
Mehta as Senior Vice-President (Client Banking). Prior to
joining ICICI Securities, he has worked with the investment
banking team of Macquarie Capital Advisers in India and also
with NM Rothschild & Sons India.
ICICI Securities has also appointed Ajay Saraf as an
Executive Director to head the corporate finance and
institutional equities division.
