NNA Director General hails cooperation between KUNA, NNA

BEIRUT, May 1 (KUNA) -- Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) Director General Lor Suleiman hailed the cooperation between the NNA and Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
She made these remarks to KUNA on the occasion of participation of its Chairman and Director General, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah, in the celebration of NNA 50th golden Jubilee, due on Tuesday, under sponsorship of Lebanese President Michael Suleiman.
She described the relations between KUNA and NNA as unique, noting that the two agencies signed an agreement, last year, for exchanging experience.
NNA Director General stressed on the media freedom that Kuwait enjoys.
She praised the role of KUNA under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij in strengthening the cooperation among Arab news agencies.
Officials of main Arab and foreign news agencies will attend the conference that will hold workshops on various topics, namely criterion for distinction between hard news items and opi nions and objective and accurate coverage of news.
NNA and KUNA singed a media cooperation agreement in Kuwait on the 29th of March, 2010.
