Turkish president welcomes killing of world's most dangerous terrorist

ANKARA (A.A) - 02.05.2011 - Turkish President Abdullah Gul said about death of Osama bin Laden, head of the al-Qaida terrorist organization, "this development shows that terrorists and heads of terrorist organizations will end up eventually in the hands of security forces either dead or alive."
President Gul told reporters at Ankara's Esenboga Airport prior to his departure for Austria that the end of the world's most dangerous and sophisticated terrorist should be a lesson to everyone. "I greatly welcome it," he added.
Bin Laden, the mastermind behind the September 11, 2001, terror attacks orchestrated by al-Qaida on the World Trade Towers in New York which claimed lives of more than 3,000 people, was killed in a firefight with U.S. security forces at a compound in Pakistan.
