PM arrives home from DPRK
(KPL) A high-ranking delegation of Laos led by Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh arrived here yesterday from an official goodwill visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) at the invitation of Kim Yong Il, DPRK Premier.
While in the DPR of Korea, PM Bouasone and his party paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Kim Yong Nam, President of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly, visited the Tower of the Juche Idea, the West Sea Barrage, the Three-Revolution Exhibition, the Mansudae Art Studio, the Pyongyang Metro and the Pyongyang 326 Electric Wire Factory.
PM Bouasone Bouphavanh and his delegation also enjoyed the grand gymnastic and artistic performance “Arirang”, a Kim Il Sung Prize winner, at the May Day Stadium in Pyongyang on Monday.
An official welcome home ceremony for PM Bouasone and his delegation was held yesterday at the Prime Minister’s Office.
