get relief aid

(KPL) Vice President of the National Assembly Pany Yathortou and the members of the National Assembly from the constituency of Borikhamsay province presented relief items to residents of three villages in Park Kading district, early this month.
The items including rice, dry foodstuff and medicine, valued at 18 million kip, were presented to the villagers of Somsanouk, Sourh, and Thakathine.
The Borikhamsay Governor, the Park Kading district chief, and local authorities and people witnessed the hand-over.
Mrs Pany expressed her worries over the living conditions of the villagers, especially those suffering from the flood and she also said the Party and the government were concerned about their welfare.
Mrs Pany also urged the villagers to help each other and to be united, which would give them strength to overcome problems and difficulties.
“The villagers should work to become productive by being engaged in rice and crop agriculture and so generate income to enable themselves to buy basic necessities,” said the Vice-President of the National Assembly.
