KL TO HOST MIA-AFA CONFERENCE
KUALA LUMPUR, May 4 (Bernama) -- The MIA-AFA Conference 2011 will be
held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Nov 2-3.
Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) president Abdul Rahim Abdul Hamid said the event was expected to draw 2,500 participants including over 500 from Asean member countries.
"This initiative by the MIA and the Asean Federation of Accountants (AFA) will bring together experts and scholars to deliberate the issues confronting the accountancy profession," he told reporters at a press conference here Wednesday.
