QCCI Delegation Meets Italian Officials



Doha , May 04 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (QCCI) delegation held a meeting on Wednesday with a delegation of Italian officials, aiming to exchange views on the possible cooperation and trade opportunities available between the two sides.
The QCCI delegation presented during the meeting held at the QCCI headquarters here , the features and incentives that the State of Qatar offers to those who want to invest in the country; particularly relying on international standards in trade and investment and tax concessions the State provides.
Some of the incentives available are giving lots of land areas dedicated to investment projets, loans to small and medium interprises (SMI) , tax exemption on wages, educational and medical services. Another incentive is the availability of skilled labour. In addition to a distinguished geographical position and political and social stability.
The presentation included Qatar's vision for the future and the most important future project for infrastructure and preparation for the World Cup 2022.
Member of the diplomatic staff in the Italian Embassy in Qatar Silvia Tosi said that she has noticed how the Qatari Economy successfully side-stepped and overrun the global economic and financial crisis. She also highlighted the renaissance and overall progress that the State of Qatar are witnessing in all sectors as well as its success in hosting the World Cup 2022 which ushurs for new and numerous investments in the country.
Silvia Tosi also praised Qatar National Vision 2030 and expressed Italy's interest in increasing the number of Italian companies in the State of Qatar. (QNA)
