OVERSEAS SINGAPOREANS BEGIN VOTING FRIDAY

SINGAPORE, May 6 (Bernama) -- Beginning Friday, Singaporeans residing or working overseas begin casting their votes at nine designated overseas polling stations located within Singapore's high commissions, embassies or consulates.

According to the Singapore Elections Department, polling for the citizens in the United Kingdom (UK) and United States (US) start from 8am to 8pm.

Those residing in Australia, Japan and China will cast their votes Saturday, from 8am to 8pm.

The polling stations include the Singapore high commissions in Australia, UK, Japan, China and the US, and the consulates-general of China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and the US.
