Antony's visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar put off

New Delhi, May 6 (PTI) Indian Defence Minister A K
Antony's visit to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, which was to begin
on Saturday, has been put off as he is indisposed, officials
said here.
The Minister has not been keeping well after his visit
to forward Army locations in desert areas of Jaisalmer on
Monday where he reportedly suffered a heat stroke.
Due to indisposition, the Minister could not attend
the conference of CEOs of 62 Cantonment Boards on Wednesday,
which was held after a gap of 21 years.
"Due to Defence Minister's indisposition, the visit
has been deferred till the two sides agree on the mutually
convenient dates in the near future," Defence Ministry
officials said here.
During the three-day visit, the Indian Defence
Minister was to be accompanied by Defence Secretary Pradesh
Kumar, Vice-Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen A S Lamba and other
senior military and civilian officials.
