New Zealand, Bosnia Seeking Closer Ties with Iran

TEHRAN,May 11 (FNA)- New Zealand and Bosnia and Herzegovina asked for the further expansion of economic ties and cooperation with Iran.
The issue was raised during a visit by New Zealand's Ambassador to Iran Brian Sanders and Bosnia and Herzegovina's Ambassador to Tehran Amir Haji Kadonij to the Institute of Standard and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) near Karaj, provincial capital city of Iran's Northern province of Alborz.
"We should not confine our mutual cooperation and we are ready for the expansion of the two countries' trade exchanges in a way that benefits both sides," Sanders said.
He also welcomed his country's cooperation with Iran in standardization fields.
Also during the visit, the Bosnian envoy stressed the necessity for the further promotion of mutual cooperation between Tehran and Sarajevo.
As regards trade and economic ties with Iran, the ambassador stated, "The ground is ready for that end and Bosnia will have the necessary cooperation."
He also said that his country is prepared to cooperate with the ISIRI.
