Senior Cleric Calls for Collective Efforts in Campaign on Terrorism

TEHRAN, May 14 (FNA)- The Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Taskhiri urges all countries of the world to cooperate in the international campaign on terrorism.
"We should not permit countries which only claim they fight terrorism manage the process of battling and annihilating terrorism," he said in the international conference of 'International Coalition against Terrorism for Fair Peace' here in Tehran on Saturday.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran is moving towards materializing great goals of Islam," Ayatollah Taskhiri noted.

He then reiterated that peace should be accompanied by justice and unfair peace is not accepted.

Ayatollah taskhiri added piracy as well as colonial, dictatorial and suppressive acts, use of weapons of mass destruction and inhumane actions are overall stances of terrorism.
