Lebanese Condemn Israel for Massacring Palestinians on Nakba Day

TEHRAN, May 16 (FNA)- Lebanon's national parties, powers and figures deplored the coldblooded killing of the defenseless Palestinian demonstrators by the Israeli troops in the border areas of Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and West Bank on the 'Nakba (Catastrophe) Day' on Sunday.
The Lebanese parties, powers and figures in a statement issued on the occasion said Palestinians were killed while demanding their right of return to their homeland after they were expelled by the force of Zionist arms more than 6o years ago.

The statement reminded that Palestinians have had to pay a costly price, including blood, suffering, homelessness and siege as the Zionist entity has practiced all kinds of torture, murder and violations against them since it occupied Palestine.

"No one can cross out or annul Palestinians' right of return to their land and their home, and no one can replace this right with compensations. The Palestinian right is to return and receive compensations and that is definite and nonnegotiable. It is a humanitarian, political, historical, and legal right of the Palestinian people according to all constitutions, memos, pacts, international laws and customs since more than 6 decades," the statement said.

The statement also called on the international community, human rights organizations and committees to move immediately and harness "Israeli" violations against the Palestinian people inside and outside Palestine.

It also urged the international and human rights bodies to stop the Zionist criminal series and the reckless murders against Palestinian demonstrators.

The Lebanese further hailed the Palestinian step on the Nakba anniversary, saying that the move proves that they have not given up on their right and will dedicate all they have until they return to their land.
