Defence Minister visiting Indonesia

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh started an official friendship visit to Indonesia on May 16 at the invitation of his Indonesian counterpart, Purnomo Yusgiantoro.

General Thanh is accompanied by a number of high ranking officers in the visit, which is close on May 18.

Following the Indonesia visit, the Vietnamese military officers will attend ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting./.
