Kuwait submits draft law on private servants at GCC passports meeting
RIYADH (KUNA) - Kuwait has submitted a draft law regarding private servants during the 26th meeting of general directors of passports departments of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which has concluded on Wednesday.
Director of the General Department of Immigration at the Ministry of Interior Brig. Kamel Al-Awadi said at the end of the meeting that the draft would "allow private servants to enter any of the GCC states once they obtain a visa, and to permanently cancel it upon leaving the country." Participants of the meeting asked the state of Kuwait to submit a detailed visualization of this suggestion to circulate its results and its implementation process to the rest of the GCC countries.
Al-Awadi noted that the meeting shed light on the security circumstances in the region, stressing that the GCC state members should apply stricter security measures on some of the inco ming nationalities and exchange information on suspected individuals.
