Hue "floating" families to be relocated
Thua Thien-Hue (VNA) - Thua Thien-Hue province's People's
Committee approved a 30 billion VND (1.8 million USD) project to relocate 1,000 families living on Hue City 's waterways on Sept.4.
Under the plan, 20.8 billion VND (1.3 million USD) would go to building a
resettlement area and an apartment building and improving the infrastructure
of five other apartment buildings in Huong So Ward for "floating" families.
An apartment complex in Phu Hau Ward will be built at a cost of 6.6
billion VND (397,600 USD) and a resettlement area in Phu Mau commune in Phu
Vang district will get a 2.6 billion VND (156,600 USD) infrastructure
system.-
