AIRAISA GRABS THREE MAJOR MIRA AWARDS
KUALA LUMPUR, May 26 (Bernama) -- AirAsia Sdn Bhd has grabbed three major awards for investor relations (IR), beating other public-listed companies in Malaysia.
The awards were given by the Malaysian Investors Relations Association (MIRA) at its inaugural award ceremony here Thursday.
AirAsia's Chief Executive Officer, Tony Fernandes was named the Best CEO for Investor Relations, while its Investor Relations Manager, Benyamin Ismail was named the Best Investor Relations Professional. The airline also took the Best Investor Relations Website award.
"We are getting these awards also because of the support of our shareholders and stakeholders," Tony said in a statement Thursday.
