KNM GROUP SECURES US$71.6 MLN CONTRACT IN UZBEKISTAN
KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 (Bernama) -- KNM Group Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd, has won a US$71.6 million (RM217.76 million) contract from Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, KNM Group, Malaysia's leading, world class equipment process manufacturer of the oil, gas, petrochemical and minerals processing industries, said the company had "won the bid and had been accepted for the contract for the development of documentation and equipment supply facility 'booster compressor station' at the Khauzak site in the Republic of
Uzbekistan".
The contract duration is about 24 months and subject to contract
signing.
The project is expected to contribute positively to KNM Group's earnings for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2011 and Dec 31, 2012.
