Envoy Underlines Palestinians' Continued Struggle against Israel

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Ambassador to Syria Seyed Ahmad Mousavi underlined Palestinians' continued resistance against the Zionist regime of Israel.
Speaking in Damascus International Airport during the transfer of 15 injured Palestinians to Tehran for treatment, the envoy that these people have a clear message for the whole world and that is Israel is trying to pretend that issue of Palestine is forgotten, but these injured people proved that Palestinian campaign has been transferred to the second and third generations.
"Another message of the group is the issue of their return to the occupied homeland as an inalienable right of them," he continued.
"And the third message is that the issue of Palestine is still on the top of Islamic world issues and recent moves indicate that Palestine will be freed in near future and the Israeli security will be weakened more than ever," the envoy added.
Elsewhere Mousavi said that the people of the region are looking for freedom and honor.
He mentioned that in the contemporary era, popular movements in countries like Tunisia, Libya and Yemen have come from such understanding and we should learn lessons from history.
The group of injured Palestinians include 14 men and one woman, who were injured in the Golan occupied territory by Israeli forces on the day of May 15, 2011.
In the incident, 14 people were killed and 300 were injured.
