PREMIER ERDOGAN ADDRESSES PEOPLE IN TRABZON
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed an election rally in the northeastern province of Trabzon. Erdogan said, "Turkish people have full confidence in us. We don't make promises that we cannot fulfill." Erdogan said that opposition parties made promises that they could not keep.

4 BLN TL FOR METRO LINE
The construction of Kizilay-Kecioren metro line was transferred to the Transportation Ministry. Delivering a speech at the ceremony, State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek said that 4 billion Turkish lira would be invested for the metro network in Ankara.

TAXES GO DOWN, SALES OF MOTORCYCLES BOOM
As the weather in Turkey is getting warmer, the number of motorcycles on the roads is rapidly increasing. A reduction in taxes in February has caused a boom in the sales of motorcycles in Turkey. Last year, 128,000 motorcycles were sold in Turkey. In 2011, motorcycle companies plan to sell 250,000 motorcycles in Turkey.

TURKS TO ENTER GEORGIA BY SHOWING ID CARDS
Turkish and Georgian citizens will be able to enter respective countries by merely showing a national ID. According to a protocol signed by Turkey and Georgia, there will be no need to show a passport for the visits of the citizens to respective countries. Meanwhile, Turkey's Anadolu Jet company began direct flights between the Turkish capital province of Ankara and Georgian city of Batumi on Tuesday.

PASSPORT-FREE VISIT TO GEORGIA
Similar to the travelling procedures between Turkey and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Turkey and Georgia have also begun passport and visa-free visits. Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who crossed the Turkish-Georgian border by showing his national ID card, was greeted by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the other side of the crossing.

HE BROUGHT FLAGS AS HE WAS AFRAID OF THE WEST 
Republican People's Party (CHP) chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu, who had not used Turkish flags and greeted Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) supporters during his party's rally in southeastern Hakkari province, changed his attitude again as he received reactions from western provinces. CHP leader, who could not even use the expression "Kurdish issue" in southeastern Diyarbakir province, embraced the Turkish flag this time. The crowds waved three large flags, which were brought upon order to the rally venue, in front of cameras.
