Lee Myung Bak Regime Accused of Its Action to Scuttle Reunification Event

Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- The south Korean regime recently committed an anti-reunification action by disallowing the delegation of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration to visit Kaesong for contact among the north, south and overseas sides of All-Korean Committee for Implementation of June 15 Joint Declaration.
A spokesman for the north side committee said in a statement on Wednesday:
This is an intolerable challenge to the strong desire of all Koreans for reunification.
To block the June 15 joint event is a total denial of national concord, unity, peace and reunification.
The Lee Myung Bak regime's moves to scuttle the June 15 joint national event at any cost are nothing but a sinister intention to chill the desire for reunification ever growing at home and abroad and keep pushing the inter-Korean relations to acute confrontation.
If the regime persists in acts against reunification, blocking contacts and visits of NGOs in the north and the south under the signboard of the "May 24 measure" and so on, this will only precipitate its shameful destruction in face of the strong resistance of all Koreans desirous of national reunification.
