KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 (Bernama) -- Qatar Airways which flies to Doha twice
daily, has expanded their growing network to three more destinations, connecting
Kuala Lumpur to Uganda, Azerbaijan and Georgia, via Doha.
The three newest routes will take off in November this year and will be
operated with an Airbus A320 aircraft in a two-class configuration of 12 seats
in business class and 132 in economy.
In a statement Monday, Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker
said, the new routes further demonstrated the airline's ambitious strategy to
continue opening up new routes to popular and undeserved markets.
Al Baker said the airline planned to serve more than 120 destinations with a
fleet of over 120 aircraft by 2013.
