Hostel fire in E Moscow spreading, noone hurt--RME

MOSCOW, June 7 (Itar-Tass) - A fire that broke out in the residential
building of the Institute of Physical Culture on Sirenevyi (lilac)
Boulevard in Moscow's east late on Monday night has spread to cover an
area of up to 3,000 square metres, press service chief of the Moscow
department of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (RME) has told
Itar-Tass.
Floors of the building are collapsing. Firemen have requested
elevating mechanisms in order to put out the fire along the building's
perimeter. According to preliminary data, no one has been hurt.
Three hundred and ten people have been evacuated from the Institute's
residential building. About 30 fire rescue units are currently at work at
the scene of the fire.
