Master course on economic, finance and banking opened in Laos
(KPL) The National Banking Institute in collaboration with Vietnamese Institute of Banking opened on 7 September the master course on economic, finance and banking.
Attending at the opening ceremony was Dr. Somkoth Mangnormek, Minister of Education and President of Lao-Vietnamese Friendship Association, Mr. Bang Tien Long, Deputy Minister of Vietnamese Education and Training, Mr. Phouphet Khamphouvong, Governor of Central Bank of the Lao PDR and a number of senior officials from Laos and Vietnam.
This is the first master course on economic, finance and banking opened in Laos in order to enhance and expanding the knowledge of Lao officials in economic-finance and banking sector. The course will be opened from October, 2008 with 40 students. The two years course will be instructed by Vietnamese teachers.
