Phongsavanh and Bang kok Banks of Thailand co-operation expanded
(KPL) The Phongsavanh bank, the first private bank of Laos and Bangkok bank of Thailand will further their co-operation on banking and human resource development. The statement was released during the courtesy visit to Mr. Phouphet Khamphouvong, Governor of Lao Central Bank of the Thai Bangkok bank delegation.
During the talks, Mr. Phouphet praised the visit to Laos of Bangkok bank delegation as a contribution to enhance the friendship relation and co-operation between Laos and Thailand. He added that the Lao central bank would do its utmost to support the co-operation between the Phongsavanh and Bangkok bank.
The delegation from Bangkok bank of Thailand arrived Vientiane on 28 August for three working visits to Laos as a guest of Phongsavanh Bank. The sides discussed a number of co-operation projects, especially the exchange of Kip to Bath to Kip, transfer of money service.
