RF, PRC to sign joint statement on urgent int'l issues in Moscow

BEIJING , June 10 (Itar-Tass) -- During the forthcoming state visit of
Chinese President Hu Jintao to Russia and his talks with Russian President
Dmitry Medvedev, the sides will sign a joint statement on urgent
international issues, ambassador of Russia to China Sergei Razov told
journalists here on Friday.
"Russian-Chinese interaction in international issues is a very
important part of our strategic partnership," he said. As the diplomat
noted, the heads of two states are expected to discuss the situation in
Afghanistan, the Middle East and North Africa, the Iranian nuclear
programme and the nuclear problem of the Korean Peninsula, as well as the
situation in North-East Asia as a whole.
"The agenda will be very extensive and we hope for the talks' full
success, Razov said.
