Three militants killed in Dagestan Friday night
MAKHACHKALA, June 11 (Itar-Tass) -- Police in Dagestan have killed
three militants late Friday evening. The incident occurred near the
village of Manas in the Karabudakhkent district of Dagestan.
As Dagestan's police sources have told Itar-Tass, a police patrol came
under fire at about 23:30, when it tried to stop a car for a routine check
of documents. The police returned fire to kill three men inside the
suspicious vehicle.
The scene of the incident has been fenced off and the identities of
the attackers are being established.
