Iran's Youth Football Team Defeat Syria
TEHRAN (FNA)- Syria's youth football team were overpowered by their Iranian hosts 2-0 in a friendly match here in Tehran.
Iranian National Youth Football Team, Hope, coached by Ali Reza Mansourian, beat their Syrian guests Friday at the Football Ground of Azadi Sports Complex.
The Iranian Hope Team won the Friday friendly against the Syrian Youth two-nil and the goals were scored by Ehsan Haaj-Safi and Milad Fakhreddini for Iran.
In order to assure its presence at the 2012 London Olympics the Iranian youth have to face Iraq at the preliminary stage of the Asian Youth National Football Competitions.
