Iran Terms Formation of Lebanese New Cabinet "Valuable Step"
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi felicitated Lebanese nation on formation of new cabinet.
Lebanon's new Prime Minister Najib Mikati announced Monday a 30-member government line-up nearly five months after he was designated for the post.
In a statement issued on Monday, Salehi evaluating it a valuable step and victory in line with establishment of stability, peace and internal security for the country.
He also called the development as an important step towards restoration of internal and regional peace and security.
The Iranian minister added that the move strengthens the country's national might in confrontation with the aggressive policies of the Zionist regime.
